So I suppose the most sensible thing to do was ride and enjoy!
Nope strip her down and throw away the bits I thought I didn't need. Due to messed up Laws if I want to get to Bahrain to race I have to keep it road legal . that suck so the normal weight loss lights etc couldn't happen so where to start? I'll an electrician by trade so the loom and sub frame. wow Honda can't make looms what a mess!!! So chop the sub frame down the way i want it pit a Ti plate on the back to mount everything to and adjust and adjust the loom until I thought it looked right

Hey b.miller123, Yeah NO Shit eh! That is an incredible deal for that....

So Kev., how is it you can get away with getting rid of all the wires, or did you just shorten them?

I have to say, it is very surprising for me to see that BIG A$$ Battery still installed! LOL
Hey Kev., there You go buddy, a Super Quick Easy way to Ditch 5 to 7lbs right there and even a much better effect of the weight lose is if you snag one of
Thorsten batt. relocation bracket, or make your own.

And by the way<>Congrads. with that Sweet RC51!

Peace Jeff

I just shortened and re-terminated all but the ECU as they are special to type and I don't have the crimping tools here.
As for the battery It's on my todo list, I'm looking at the Shorai unit and I'll relocate myself (I'm in a fabrication place right now!!) lol. Thats once I get my Thermae front mounted Rads so I know how much space I have to play with. But the quickest way to lose 5-7 Lbs would be for me to stop eating as much!!

A bit out of sync but the subframe was a no brainer so cut and shut with the grinder and now nothing is bolted to the outside of the sub frame all the brackets were removed and as much as I could every thing i mounted in side the subframe a harsh lesson I learned while Endurance racing the other thing I did was waist part of the Torx bolts that hold the subframe to the chassis so they are the weakest point and should brake before the mounting points on the chassis snap another expensive mistake I once made on the track. As a result now the seat unit comes of a treat no messing about. Also changed to the HRC rear reservoir.
