Default Oil cooler fittings

Ok I have a front mount radiator kit and I purchased from a forum member who at this time will remain anonymous the fittings to attach the oil lines to instead of cutting my stock lines and having fittings welded to them. Here is the problem, i was told they were 3/8 npt fittings so I bought some 3/8 npt to AN8 elbows... fittings didnt thread, so I bought another set of elbows, same problem. I contacted the seller who gave some lip service but never did anything about it... so now here I am out this money and still dont have a running bike. Anyone here can help please let me know. I am trying to work with thermae about just buying an oil cooler and fittings (AN6) but that is also taking some time, and since I am deploying soon my time is limited. I have already missed out on some track days and ill be dammed if I dont get any in this year. Thanks for reading.

Did the seller offer your money back or offer to make it good?

Can you not take them to a local speed shop (cars) and see what actual size they are, then buy the appropriate sized fittings?

Sure I could, but I am pretty positive they are the right size just not exactly threaded correctly for that size... need a go no go gage!

Do you have a pic of where exactly this fitting needs to go? I might have a couple laying around, If they will work I'll send em to you.

is it AN male to *** female? or male/male?

Also, see if you can count how many threads per inch are on the piece you need to adapt. if there's not an inch just do a half inch, count the threads and x2. It sounds like the fitting are on the adapters that fit to the motor. FWIW he ones I've seen have been AN fittings. Are the ends cone shapped? Onc scenario is that they are designed for hard tube (compression) fittings and Jegs readily has those tube to -8 fittings. They may also be metric but I am most certain that they are either AN or hard tube fittings.

They may be -6 outlets. -6 is 3/8's in size (and he said it was 3/8NPT..could just have been wrong or ignorant). SAE pitch is 9/16-18, NPT 3/8-18.

If they're not "threaded correctly" for that size, then they are not that size. lol... The solution is right in front of you, and you can't see it.

Distant thunder, cold as stone. An RC bellows from its throne. One by one, each bike succumbs. Something wicked this way comes.

This. We have a store that sells nothing but fittings and lines.. they made me some oil return stuff for a supercharger a while back. I'm sure you could do something similar.
