Default High mount frame slider options?

Looking for a slider setup like in the picture below. Is there anything other than thorsten? Can't really afford a set of his and could really use the added protection.

IF You are talking about the Frame Sliders which are highest from the ground (Since this MC pictured in your post has 2 different sets of sliders) the answer to your question is NO.
Thorsten is the ONLY 1 who makes those and IMHO they're the best ones....

Think about money "Possibly" saved in a lay down and they are worth Every Single Penny.

Just keep looking for when peps sell them used... might find a good deal.

Peace Mav

Yeah I was talking about the high ones. I have the low ones now. I'll look for used, couldn't spend 200$ + ship on some new sliders that cost maybe 10-15% of that to make.

I have Thorsten frame sliders on my RC that saved my bike from a low side at Willow Springs. I have Sato Banzai pipes and only suffered minimal damage. This was last year. The other sliders out there are two low to really protect anything. Yes they will protect your frame (as the title says). Thorsten sliders are the best. If you could get the mounts for the sliders you could probably rig different sliders in there if you had to.

He's just wise and doesn't waste money on unneeded, heavy, overpriced and useless products.. no need to be upset about it.

you are cheap as the day is long man. every post you make is cheap cheap have you no shame?

everythging with you is how you know what everything coists, and costs to make and you want things for cost but have no way to make it or expect others to go broke selling them to you or try to devalue their work

the thorsten sliders don't cost fricvken $20 to make you have no idea what you are talking about and sadly it is evident in every post you make

tmies are tough and you expect everybody to make $4 per hour and spend their time and money to offer you parts for nothing while you offer what to motorcycling?

I appreciate craftsmanship, but I can't justify that cost. At most those sliders cost 40-50$ in material to make, I know what billet that thin costs. Thorsten has developed some impressive parts and his price is fine, just more than I can justify for myself. But at least he's done true R&D and his fit and finish is superb. As far as shame goes, you don't get to speak to others about that. I can gladly post pics of your many overpriced failures. From exploding exhausts, to 100% fake "Brembo" calipers, to headlight fillers that don't even come close to fitting, to pitted and remarkably wavy and poorly finished carbon, to just poorly designed and asymmetrical products that you charge incredibly high prices for. You've discussed making carbon rearsets, clip on tubes and subframes with layered and non vacuum bagged carbon. Products that could easily result in someone else's death or serious injury. You claim you're just a hobbyist, but you are running a business. That business is selling 2nd rate products at ridiculous prices. This has been documented time and time again. You've been banned here and elsewhere. You claim you can vacuum bag and produce quality parts.. but you don't. You just turn out junk.

I'm just going to start posting pics of his failures in his for sale threads until he gets the point.

Seems like now that ben is gone, mark has pulled the cork out again and let the shit drain from his man pleaser. Take a look at all his recent posts, it is nothing but bickering nonsense and trying to sell his "products", I guess that is all the he has to offer the forum.

Sorry Jeff I don't mean to be negative here. I really just don't like Mark because of his attitude and subpar line of products. I would hate for a new member to mistakenly think what he has is equal to what other carbon manufacturers produce. But yeah, he was banned from here for a short while then apparently reinstated.

You missed out mav, we had a moderator for a little while (Ben710, not Ben from rc51parts.com) after vertical scope bought the site. He reorganized a few things (I'm sure you noticed the Honda sport twins section is gone and tech and general discussions are now in the same place). He caught some flack over everything and I guess left for whatever reason.

Mark did get banned, along with Larry and some other people. Mark was banned for well, being Mark. I think everyone came back besides jimmy540i? I have left him alone for quite some time and have left his for sale threads alone. Long before we had a moderator.

Apparently now that the moderator is gone and he has no chance of being banned again he is up to his old tricks. Now he just attacks anyone who doesn't love his work and fills their threads with bs, even if they haven't done anything to him.

I agree it is beyond old. He still starts the same shit over and over again. The guy brings it on himself in every post he makes. He trolls, and sometimes he gets what he wants, attention. He loves to call people out for not "bringing anything good to the sport or site", yet all he does is call people names and fling poo, or try to sell his stuff. All of us have left his classified threads alone for quite some time. I don't really know where his new-found animosity is coming from. He needs to read his signature a few more times and have a beer, smoke a joint or something.

Btw, I'll try and get some dimensions this weekend before I pack everything up for my move. Akilldema, you have an SP2 right?

And I have zero qualms about posting up dimensions. They aren't a trade secret, and if someone wants to make some for themselves, then have at it. I was looking into doing the same thing when I found my set. I'll probably remake them though, as there are a couple small things I would like to change.

Thanks. Feel free to share what you'd change as well, I'd be curious to hear what your criticism is.
