Default Velocity stack mod

Hey guys,i have just done the velocity stack mod,and may i say its a pisser.Definately notice the difference in the mid range and its cleaned up things thru the rest of the rev range in general. You have to have an open airbox ie Turn one, to do this mod.replace the front velocity stack with a rear one. Thanks Nick, your earning the title of SP Guru here in Aus,Definately giving Rene Halfevil a run for his money pmsl

fwiw, the same set-up (ie. two long, or rear, stacks) wakes up the bottom-end of the VTR in a noticeable manner....

Works with stock airbox or a waste of time effort?

Pretty sure it won't fit in the stock airbox unless it has been gutted, even then probably not the best.

Whoops.. looks like shipping alone is 15$. That's a bit much. 22.50 total.

The mod? There's just a tall one in the front instead of a short one. Nothing special.

I'm retarded, I just woke up. So just a factory rear one for the front. Seems easy enough.

Yeah, nothing to it. I actually just got my dealer to order one for me, it was only 7.50.

I was just about to clarify, lol. I have found that a lot of the smaller parts are relatively the same price on IOEM/RonAyers/etc as the dealer. I found them on IOEM and paid the same price through my local dealer minus the shipping. I have even been able to haggle my dealer down to near online costs on certain items (wish I could have done it for my real cowl).
