There's a guy on eBay that sells the LED mods, but they have to be soldered into place.

Default Lots of options

You can also get a carbon cover to replace the black plastic one. The face plate is easily removed so you could paint it a different color as well.

If your lucky, an can find one, you can replace it with one that came with the race bike. I have one of of a SP1 racer, only shows RPM and temp but it looks like the same plug as the stocker. One of these days I'll try it.

Honda RC51 Gauge Backlighting - Bluegauges.com

I had the RC5106 treatment off this page. Cost was $75 + shipping the dashboard to him in Buffalo, NY (the $75 includes shipping it back). Took him about 2 days for turnaround time, but this was right before Christmas. Looks pretty cool and very unique - be prepared to be criticized you didn't use that money to buy an Ohlins suspension.

Only negative comment is that the white tach gauge is a little too bright at night especially when there isn't any other ambient lighting. He's offered to turn the intensity down a bit but I haven't had the bike offline long enough yet.

It would be cool to have colored LEDs above the tach, like on an F1 car.

The reason the stock dash is amber is to preserve night vision. Bright lights like the white tach make it really difficult to see
