Weight off the cowl

I don't ride at night and when I had my fairing off to add flushmounts It totally surprised me how friggin heavy the lights are,I did a search and did not find any a/m lightweight parts. Does anyone make any?? I can't stop thinking what a great place to lose lbs. also cops Don't look for D.O.T. markings so a ray o vac/foil set-up with plexyglass would shave 2-3 lbs. any info is appriciated thanks.
