Default My SP1 project :)
Hi I'm 20 years old and I'm from Norway My bike needs a little work so I thought I should make a thread about it. It's a 2000 model SP1 which I picked up in germany 2 years ago. Hopefully it will be ready for the spring


This is what she gets:

-Durbahn carbon fuel tank assy
-Durbahn carbon/kevlar endurance fairing
-Durbahn carbon battery relocator
-Durbahn carbon snorkel
-Durbahn lithium battery
-Magical racing carbon front fender
-Power commander III USB
-Öhlins shock
-Yoyodyne front mount radiators
-HRC 'complete racer' exhaust

I need to buy galfer lines in the front, brembo clutch/brake master cylinders and 520 sprocket conversion

I'm still waiting for the fairing, radiator and the shock. More pictures will come in the future enjoy!

those are nice parts, cannot wait to see them mounted up. by the way, what is the deal with that seat/fuel tank filler looking carbon piece? looks to me like the fuel would all leak out when you go for a tank fill!

It looks a little odd because the tank is also the subframe. It's made to fit with a Durbahn undertail exhaust. That's why it has a special design

looks great.
maybe change the PC with a IgniTech
control modul.first time it looks more expensive
but there are so many options like launch controll,traction controll,quickshifter,shift light etc. in compound with the things you do
and maybe motor tunning is the best i try for the RC 51.
i also beginn with the PC,than a AFR tuner and now the ignitec
with new wiring harness.works great.

Everything can be sold for the right price And it's not cheap


I have considered Motec,but that's not going to happen in many years. Other things have higher priority

Got the fairing and the snorkel today













The fairing weighs close to nothing, and the snorkel is about half the weight of a Turn1 snorkel. I hope the radiator shows up this week.

where did you get that snorkel? I'm looking to reduce some weight, also, and had been deeply considering starting with the front fairing/airbox area. thanks! looks great!

Very nice parts indeed, did you hit the lottery or something? Stuff is so damn expensive in Norway

Will the fairing and intake need the steering to be limited?

Yes the steering has to be decreased. Durbahn says it's not more than a few milimeters

Shipping here is so expenisve, it's cheaper to buy a new fairing. But i have a Turn1 snorkel and a Durbahn SP1 glas fiber airbox for sale?
