Default Older Marchisini Wheels worth the hassle?

I came across the following ad and was wondering what you guys think. I can pick these up for about $350. I cannot justify the new high dollar wheels for the street riding I do, and was curious if these might be an improvement worth the hassle of having them powder coated, machining spacers, figuring out cush drive, axles, brake rotors etc. Does it help they were on a 900RR at some point?

Thanks in advance for the opinions!

They might not be much lighter (if any) than your stock wheels. I'd pass.

IMHO, no. Not worth it. Much hassle for nominal gain.

I have those (but powdercoated solar black) on my 94 cbr900RR and they work great. You can definitely feel the weight difference during transitions. The CBR900RR wheels are a lot heavier than RC51 wheels but cast magnesium wheels are still going to be a big improvement over stock. $350 + new bearings and getting some spacers made is worth the effort. You might need new rotors though....I think the carrier bolt spacing is different.

I would look into finding a cush drive first as that will be the hardest thing to source. If you have a way to do it, you could probably make one, although that would be tough without one to copy.
