Default full exhaust interchangability?

i think it will fit but i have forgotten

will a yosh full for a 2001 fit the 2002?

i have the 2001 and it fit that and then did the 2002 swingarm and it fits that too so the heads should be the same minus the 2002 D shaped ports right?

Yes, a SP1 system will fit a SP2.

A SP2 system will NOT fit a SP1.

I have a Full Yosh on my SP2. Yosh only made full systems for SP1's.

Same as Akro, the only difference is the exhaust inlet adaptor to match the D exhaust ports on the SP2. SP2 slip-ons usually won’t fit the SP1 due to the right side exhaust mid pipe location. The right side is tucked up more between the swingarm and rearset. There were some SP2 specific full systems that made use of the swing arm room, but I can’t think of who they were now.

for those of you running the full yosh head-pipes on SP2's... did you or do you have clearance issues with the mid-pipe and the fairing rubbing slightly, particularly on the right side. After installing the full systm, i noticed that the right mid-pipe rubbed the fairing right after the joint. should i just file out some of the fairing or should i be able to get them to fit w/o contact?

the fairings are the same, try to move the pipes around a bit for a little more clearance
