You can fix your can for about 200 bucks i believe. Don't hold me to that, but i think that's what a new sleeve is going for now days.

Dude its really not hard to repack the sleeve. If you take care of shipping the can and new sleeve i'll recondition it for you for free. Oooor if you ask Scott really nicely i'm sure he could get you a hella good price on the sleeve and may even help you out with reconditioning the can. Doesn't hurt to ask.

A drill and a rivet gun. Drill out the rivets remove the caps and repack away. Or you can drill out the rivets on both sides and pull the sleeve and then repack and put back together.

^^^What he said. A simple 10 dollar rivet gun from your local auto parts or hardware store will suffice. Ask whoever you buy the sleeve from what size rivets they suggest you use as replacements. Should take you a total of less than 2 hours from beginning you finish.

I've swapped Sato sleeves and it's not that big of a deal. I believe it's $150-160 for a sleeve, and Dan Kyle includes the rivets and emblem for the new sleeve.

I used a cheap-O rivet gun and despite the price for packing from DK, most of the original stuff was reusable.

Thanks Mark. The rivet gun I have is a cheap-O-Rama, but worked fine. I hope not to need a rivet gun THAT much to own a quality one......

Then again, I've been thinking about building my own Grummen Hellcat..........

Measure the diameter of your inlet on the can and then search for cans that have the same diameter. Sorry i don't have any banzai can handy to measure for you, but i'm sure you can manage going out to your garage and get said deminsions.

popping stainless rivets can be a pain in the neck with a cheapo rivet gun... if anyone you know has a pneumatic one, ask to borrow it, it may save some sore knuckles.
