Pair system disable.

Hi all! I have a '00 RC51 and as i have limited time before my bike is dynoed i need to know an quick and easy way to disable the pair sytem?
Would unplugging the control solenoid valve be enough?
I have a P3 usb to go on with my Moriwaki cans and will remove the Pair system completely at a later date when i have the block off plates and time.
