Angry 2002 Hot starting problems

OK technoids out there anyone else have this problem? After riding for more then any hour and turning off the bike it will not start. It seems like the battery is too weak to turn it over. However, if I let it sit and cool down for some time it will have just enough juice to start. The battery is only a couple of years old and put on a tender. I've heard rumors that a PCIII will fix this by changing the advance curve etc. Does that hold any water? Thanks in advance and aloha!

FYI, I had the exact same issue with a TL1000S.....

Usually it's a weak battery or bad ground....

+1 Beaugator

I had the same issue with my Ducati. Seems like big twins like healthy batteries. A Power Commander will not help this situation although it is a great solution for others.

Your lucky it even starts,Replace the battery. As for the PCIII,It only changes the maps for the fuel not the ignition advance.

The PCIIIUSB doesn't but the PCIIIR does...

If a new battery doesn't solve the issue, then the voltage regulator might be suspect. Voltage regulators put out a lot of heat and take some abuse if you ride in warmer than usual weather or pull a lot of traffic duty.
