aa motorcycle transport SUCKS!

I recently purchased an 01' RC from a member of this fine forum. I hired these fools to transport it from Va. to So Cal. The only reason that I hired them is because they are out of San Diego as well and I figured it would be good to work with a local shipping company. They told me it would be about a week. Now I know its across the country and that a week was a little ambitious so I gave them the benefit of the doubt after 12 days. It has now been three weeks and when I call to ask where in gods name my bike is, the beeeaatch gives me a bunch of attitude. I informed her that is was not my fault that she didnt study hard in school and now has to answer phones to support her three kids. As a consumer my only recorse is to spread the word of the companies poor service (as well as look out for the members of this board) so at all costs avoid these clowns!

Three weeks is a long time, and it sounds like they really can't tell you where it is...is the bike insured? I hope they didn't "loose" it somewhere along the way. Good luck man.

I've heard many stories like this for transport co's, where they have to wait to load other bikes, to make a economical delivery, but they don't tell you that when they take your order, and eventually it becomes 3-4 weeks and the bike is still sitting at the origin and has not moved

yup

Another thing was when they went to go pick up the bike the driver called cris (the member I bought it from) and asked him if he had any tie downs "cuz he furgot his". I actually researched the boards and found many reccomendations for places buuut nooo Im a dumba** and had to get the one in my hometown. If this post keeps 1 person from using them I will feel 100% better.

Also used AA Motercycle Shipping they are extremely deceptive in their Shipping procedures and quotes of 5-7 days. Bike sits a few hundred miles from pick up locations for weeks just sitting there. but boy are they quick to take your money. If you want your bike fast go and fly down pick it up and ride it back. been a month and haven't seen it move, several calls and all I get is thats the transport company problem not ours... contact them... no number to contact them, for all I know its down in Tijuana mexico being used as a taxi now Or on a freeway onramp with a sign Stating Please help I'm stranded lost cold and alone and afraid I need ride to Idaho will help with gas (I have $1 dollar) dont mind if I make a stop in every town of 10 people or less like greyhound just want to get home to my owner... Never again use them. They are a Scam Gonna take months to make insurance claim and try to get my loss back if it was ever covered by insurance like they said to begin with. Shipper beware.
