BUT, now I have to ask you "Stunna", Why do you like the #2 rotor best?
I really didn't notice much of a diff. between that and #1
Also Stunna, was yours the last one pictured?
That one looks cool too, why screw with what you got there?
Peace Jeff
I like it because it looks professionally made and well designed. Minimilistic and a "wave" pattern without being wavey... Lightweight and made by a company you can trust in braking.
I dont want to keep my stock modded rotor bc I want the best options that are available for my bike and there is not many stock parts on the RC that I feel fulfill that requirement.
not very fun having a stiff, grabby rear brake and going highside IMO i make ALL my rear brakes almost worthless so as to not going flying and the rear brake is only around 20% or less on these new sportbikes but they are good for hills maybe
I've also got to say, after seeing some of your MCs here, either quite afew of you guys "Make Really, Really, Really Good Money"!... Or your indebt over your heads. ...............OH!........ that's right, the 3rd option, BOTH!
I agree!! I don't understand why someone needs to spend thousands of dollars to make a "road bike" into a race bike. Sure the whole Bling thing is cool, but do you really need a couple grand in suspension for the street? Or super duper radial mount wave rotor brakes?

Simply the pursuit of the most optimal set up of an RC51 in my case. Price is no issue when your obsessed.

Do you NEED ketchup on fries? Nope.......
Do you NEED big boobies when lots of nice girls have medium or small ones? Nope...
Do you NEED beer, when you have a perfectly good, working kitchen faucet? Nope....
For street only, do you NEED all this crap? Nope....but some poeple like better then stock equipment, and won't settle for mediocre, stock parts for some things. Nobody's saying YOU have to put them on your bike, but why put down the guys that can and do....??
I do street and trackdays. I prefer better equipment then stock brakes pads, master cylinder and lines, and better working, more functional suspension then the parts that came with the bike new. If you haven't ridden on anything better then stock parts, you'll never understand........ If you think the stock parts you have are the best performing out there, you'll NEVER understand.
Some people don't/won't settle for stock if improvements can be made, no matter how small they may seem to anyone else.
It also gives us something to do in the winter months.......
For the record: The difference to me depicting the difference between a street bike and a track bike, is where I ride it. I want the best in both machines.
which leads me to the explanation of why I wasted so much time to put together this post: I just wanted all the members to have quick access to all the options out there so they could make well informed deciscions without having to do all the research that I have done.

Oh ya and I would also like to add that most every mod that I have done in some way improves handling, responsiveness, weight reduction, speed, braking, cooling efficency or the general athstetics of the machine. All worthwhile, whether im joyriding on the public roads or flogging it on the track.
I have ridden with guys on highly modified RC51s before while mine was nearly bone stock and I could not figure out why I was having such difficulties keeping up without feeling like I was going to eat shit. As the mods came, then came the confidence and the speed for me. *not that its nessecary to go faster, but it sure doesnt hurt!

Isn't that a nice way of saying BLING! Not that bling is necessarily a bad thing.
