Looks like you decided to shorten the Mori cans...hope the damage after the crash was bad enough to justify that. I bet that first cut HURT...been there, done that!
Also DITCH THE STOCK SP1 SHOCK! You will have far more control after the upgrade. If you do ANYTHING else (aside from track days) with your RC, PLEASE get a better rear suspension
Well a HUGE thanks to another member on here for passing his pride and joy on to me
I'm so tickled to own another RC and plan on never making the mistake I made last time and selling it! Here she is, 2004 with Arata pipes, power commander and speedo healer. 15/41 520 kit arriving this week and just ordered an Ohlins rear shock from DK

Depending on weight, I really think the front is the weak point stock in terms of setup.. but his looks reworked based on that feeler on the fork.

Thanks Guys,
Yeah Justin... FWIW: this winter coming, 2012\2013 before it is over=(down time) they will be one of 3 different colors... this will be the last summer she'll see with black rims.... I hate the look even though they are some of the Most BEAUTIFUL Carbon Fiber I have ever seen! The black has got to go
LOL Hey Miller<>Time,
You know how long ago I bought these from you and I just removed my Carbon Arrows & just installed these approx. 2 wks ago and I have to say I'm really enjoying the different look, Ti vs Carbon Fiber and the different sound too. As it is surprisingly (to me) Louder then My Arrows!..? As my Arrows have Quite a bit Bigger Mid pipes, all the way through inlet to nozzles and right on straight on out the Nozzles, So I'm guessing these are louder because of the "Ti"....?
Hey Defender, love your RC too and about my wind screen, it's just the stock\oem screen.
However, I do have a "Lamanar Lip",.. which I love how it looks... and 7 yrs. later I have (Still) NEVER seen another RC51 with one of these installed, so this makes it extra special to me, and besides those two things... it works Great!
Peace

I didn't realize they were BSTs! Ignore my comments. Those are awesome. Very nice. What would you replace them with, white forged mags? You could do the unthinkable and paint them.

If you pain those rims.... You are my fukin hero! She looks sad and fat with the black rims. I always loved the white. Just leave a small strip of carbon for the non-believers!

Love these pipes. I would consider trading my sato's for them. Although mine are not in mint condition, and I do like the higher mount. Those Aratas are sweet. I used to run those on my 03/04 zx6rr.
Oh well, nice bike. Very clean!

I had sato Ti's on my last RC but have to say I love these Aratas. I've been told they are on par with satos in quality and performance. I'm very happy with them they sound great and are a clean look I think. Plus you don't see too many bikes with these pipes. Kudos to original owner for thinking outside the box

Yes, cutting the cans was painful and putting them back together was a pain in the dick too. But i'm happy with them. Yes, the suspension is the next to go.

LMAO.... Yes I am going to paint them but more accurately, they call the job "Tinted" LOL
IF You have ever seen and paid attention to the NCR (I think they're called?) they are a Co. who takes Duc. superbikes and reworks them completely, making them Lighter, faster and way more Expenesive!
One of their MCs they did awhile back, they used a Carbon Fiber frame which they painted (aka "Tinted") the frame this Cool BLUE color and from a distance it just looked like a Blue frame and when you got close to it.... You could see the Carbon Fiber right through the Paint, which is why He (CEO: I called and spoke with him on the phone) calls it a "Tint job" and Unbelieveable, he told me how they did it!
I have a guy who's going to try it for Me, doing them 1st in WHITE... I'm hoping it works!
So, I'm hoping we: My painter & I can pull this off in WHITE, which ofcourse will be the hardest color to pull it off with, if the white can't be done so the Rims look Bright White from a distance...? Then I,m thinking 2nd choice is Red with the 3rd being> Silver....?
We'll see but no matter what, it WILL be done before this time next year, as I have Really, REALLY Tried to like them in black, I just don't.
About leaving a small strip, I was thinking IF the tint job doesn't come out to my liking, then I leave the "Spokes or part of them CF" while the rest of the rim gets painted Bright White!..
Peace Jeff
And to LRO... Your Orange paint job is KTM cool IMHO

Reason: to add the picture
gentlemen nice pictures of the bikes. B200 way to bring back an rc. I tinted my bst rear with super blue racing brake fluid. Tinted the rim blue as the sky. Well just spots due to that leaking cheap pvm caliper.
