Default Fill the headlight hole

Hi,

The riding season is about to end so I've been thinking about few mods I'm gonna do to my bike. Well, I always love the look of endurance race bike and I want to do single headlight on my bike. I dont want to buy another bodywork for that purpose since I have a spare track skins for track days.

So, anyone knows any shop that will do the headlight hole filled with fiberglass on one side? I don't mind shipping it since I won't be riding it for few months; but if there's a shop around Michigan, that'll be great.

TIA!

Thanks a lot!

BTW, if I bought the inserts, is there any way that I can fill up the gap?

I'm sure any competent body shop could fill and paint for you.

Buy some epoxy filler at any auto paint supply store. You can fill/fix/sand and paint it.

If your planning on using it on the street, its hard to see at night with one headlight. I have the low beam side taken out and only run one headlight. Not too good for night visibility. Just my

Yes, I'm planning of using it on the street and upgrade my high beam to HID. If it's not working right, I can still go back to dual headlight.

I have done this both on my race bodywork and on the street with one light. I used a product called super-fil which is stronger and lighter than glass or bondo. In fact I tested its strength with a high speed get off. The result was that both patched headlight holes remained filled but the OEM plastic broke in three spots around the holes.
Also this stuff is real easy to sand and prep for paint unlike most epoxy's or glass. Save your money and do it yourself its really easy.
