Default gsxr front end

I have a 2002 Gsxr 1000 front end i would like to adapt to my hawk. I am going to replace The f3 front end that is on now. Does any one now if the triple trees have same head size or do i have to get a custom triple tree made, if so where?

I am running a Dymag front wheel with Brembro fronts 320mm disks.

any help would be great

thanks

if the f3 forks worked the gsxr should. to be sure measure the lower triple steering tube diameter and length. Since you have all the parts you are ahead of the game. Might want to rebuild the gsxr forks for use on the hawk. they are most likely going to be too stiff because of the weight difference between the bikes. This would also depend on your weight as well. One other thing to point out is the over all length of forks. It could serious change your bikes handling. measure and measure again.
