The Hawk GT is a little gem that is know to have been the start of many naked bikes of today like the SV650. Back in 88" it was not well received so there are few around.. but over the years it has been known to be one of the best handling twins for its size and they are still raced today and winning. Known for its innovative SSSA that was designed by ELF a F1 car designer and it really makes it stand out in a crowd of GSXR's and CBR's... and people don't believe that's it's 21 yr's old. So here's your chance to own a bike that not many have seen and a great conversation piece and a damn good rider.
The bike has been serviced, new oil and filter, chain, sprockets, rebuilt forks with new seal, new tires, updated turn signals, Twin Bros full exhaust, new EBC front pads and a good battery.
Tank, fender and cowl have fresh paint and clearcoated, painted the wheels a darker graphite, polished the rear pegs, and driver sets and a complete detail.
Bike runs great! Rode it on a few all day rides in KY last fall before starting the resto-job and never had a problem with it.
All it needs is a new owner and some plates and she's ready for curve carving! You will be one of the only 2 in the area... I have the other...
