Default Hawk value

Looks like I'll be selling my Hawk. I'd appreciate an estimate of what you all think it's worth. The mods are: Gold Valve emulators, progressive springs, GSXR brake caliper, EBC floating disk, M4 full exhaust, jet kit, Fox shock, Corbin, fairing, frame sliders, roller bearings in steering head, 25k miles.

Nice Hawk!

Every region is different, and it is winter, but I would still say $2900.

Looks very nice and well taken care of. I say $2500 - $3500 is the norm...

Yours should be in the 3k range....

Price also depends on the time of year... You tend to get more for bikes in the spring than in the winter... just due to the desire to want to buy n ride versus buy n sit.

Start off $500 over what u want for it so they feel like they won when you knock of 5 bones when they ask...

Thanks. It won't be available until 12/15 or so as I want to offer it to the email list we call a motorcycle club. Then I'll offer it here and/or on ebay. I'd like to keep it until Spring but I don't have much room in the garage and I have few things to do to the other bikes.

None of my friends want it, so it's for sale for $2900. I'll post an ad in the classified, but it's in very good conditions save for a few flaws in the plastic here and there. The Diablos on it have plenty of life. I can supply a service history if anyone is interested.

Dude,
I wish I wasn't so paranoid about spending the cash ... that looks like a nice bike. I would love to purchase it from you for my wife. She used to have a red Hawk a few years ago, and due to her small size it was a perfect bike for her. They are getting harder to find as time passes ... especially good examples of them like this one. Good lucjk with the sale ... I am sure it won't take long to find a buyer.

Where are you located?

Boy, that looks familiar. I had a new one in 1990. 65k miles, several multi-state tours and three roadracing class championships later...it was perhaps my favorite bike of everything I've owned. Good Times!

Wish I had the money...yours is set-up just right.

Still for sale, still asking $2900, still listening to reasonable offers.

So how does she ride, how about giving us some info about her and how long you've had it?

Ive always wanted one of these for street rides but Im somewhat tight for cash these days.....but if the price came down to atleast $2250 I might just pull the trigger. If that's too low consider this a free bump.

It's not going that low unless it goes to a friend. A close friend. That I owe favors to. I'm the second owner, my Dad was the first. it came to me when he got an SV650. The fairing was a dealer accessory at the time -- I believe Honda listed it as a factory accessory and it was made by Targa. I did all the mods myself, save for the installation of the GV emulators (by a shop) and the jetting kit (by my Dad -- who also put a TBR system on it; I changed to the M4). I also did the scheduled services at the scheduled 8,000 mile intervals (I wouldn't bother checking the valve clearances again for another 20,00, they never change). Always used synthetic oil. She rides and runs perfectly. I've toured on it, run track days and chased my friends on their liter bikes through the back roads. I'm selling it because I got the 599 (also from my Dad) and I have a one car garage.
