Default Rear Shock Question

I've heard there are several types of shocks out there for the Hawk and was wondering if I could get some feedback on what everyone thought. I'm thinking of going with the Wilbers or Progressive (lower end on price). I don't race or do track days. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Somebody else will have to tell you first hand experience. I am still saving up for one myself. But, I have researched and listened to others. I think you can't go wrong with the Wilbers or a Penske Sport shock. Both of these, the dealers will build it to your ride weight and how you plan to ride the bike.

If you go Progressive, you'll have to deal with transferring your stock spring to the Progressive unit.

There is a cool Hawk lister that recently picked up distributor options for Wilbers. Steve Lenac. Also, can hook you up with a 6 piston brake conversion kit for the front.
