Default Taylor Made Racing GSXR Underbelly exhaust

this looks clean!
Taylormade Suzuki 2007 GSXR 1000

More Power: 6.5 hp @ 7000 rpm
Less Weight: lose an astounding 20 lbs!
MotoGP Style

Features:
Titanium Canister
Carbon Fibre Trim
Tuned Sound Level
Cool Ceramic Technology

Uses Stock O2 sensor

Once again, the TaylorMade team has created a totally unique clean style for your GSXR 1000. Combining high design with race proven engineering, the new K7 kit will blow you away with both looks and performance. Our underbelly muffler is dedicated to maximizing volume in the limited space available under the engine. Similar to our 600/750 Race kit, our K7 underbelly has a fantastic sound that will attract attention without going overboard. Our sleek GP styled tip is attached to a full muffler box. This isn’t just an open pipe stuck on the back of your header!

The TaylorMade 2007 GSX-R 1000 kit is a slip on that eliminates the stock box and mufflers saving 20 pounds! That’s better than going on a diet. The kit comes with right and left side carbon fiber trim to blend the stock fairing into that aerodynamic MotoGP style.

On the dyno you can expect a horsepower increase of 6.5 hp @ 7000 rpm and 3 HP at the top end without a power commander. As soon as power commanders are available, we will post new test results and downloadable map. We measured sound levels of 105 db at 7000 rpm as compared to 96 db for the stock exhaust.

They've actually been making that design for the 600/750 since '06. I hear they're very LOUD!

I wonder what kind of power that makes considering its deviating from their 4-2 system.

I saw their booth at MotoGP this year and it is AWESOME. I was thinking of ditching the RC51 and jumping on a GIX1 with that exhaust....AHHH, I love my 51 too, cant get rid of that....

Looks nice. But, $800.00 for a slip-on?

Not an option if you ever plan on track body work.

The biggst reason I wont consider a REALLY loud pipe with these kind of bikes with the stubby design is that at full tilt it is damn near deafening. I rode a buddies '06 R6 with a full M4 system and man, it damn nearly made me cry........ear plugs is a MUST with a loud system for these bikes.

I'm a dealer for Taylor made and I have sold and installed a few of the exhaust systems and there not that loud at all and they offer a street and race baffle option. They also offer a free custom Power commander map which can be pre installed of e-mailed. I can also sell the pipes for less and they do look and sound great and is the best looking pipe for the GSXR IMO.

But your getting a slip-on that drops around 10lbs and adds good HP, carbon fiber underbelly which isn't cheap and a free custom map by Taylor made and the system is Ti with ceramic coating as far as I can remember.
