Question 06 GSXR 750 Cables from Exhaust

Are these neccesary? I am keeping the stock exhaust on for the last three race weekends of the season.

Can I remove them?

Pop on over to gixxer.com, go to the 06 600/750 forum, and search for SET valve removal. Sorry to promote another board here, but there is extensive discussion of the topic, plusses and minuses, and means of removal there.
