Default 06 GSXR daily rider?

For you guys who have the new 06 GSXR 600 and 750.

Do you ride them off the track? Are they comfortable for a long day of sport riding? The seat seems pretty thin to me, but is it supportive enough to be comfortable?

I know these are track oriented bikes, not Gold Wings. But would you consider riding a 500 mile day on one?

Hrm. What are you coming off of? The seat and suspension are ridiculously cushy as far as I am concerned. My only worry about spending 500 miles on it would be width. I find that wide bikes make my knees hurt. I could spend 8 hours on my 999, but I could never do that on my CBR F4.

I ride mine daily. On weekends we will run 4 to 5 hours in the twisties. Comfort has not been an issue. If I were to try to go 500 miles on the freeway I could see my lower back and Ass not cooperating. The seat pad is pretty thin but does a great job for what it is designed for. I think if I really wanted to sport tour on this bike, it would not be all that difficult to do. A Corbin, some Heli Bars and drop the pegs and I would be set for the miles

I've rode my '05 250 miles in a day all back roads and my ass and body were sore. For around town the GSXR's are fun but not goldwing fun on the highway.
