in just 2 months of membership you found out who and what is eatch one... specially 249 (aka 999)
Can you tell me which other forum is better than here? 99% of the US forums are full of squids and stunters... the % on this great forum i would say is close to 1% but we scare them away easy!!
pigzilla.com is good. it's the 1% like your self that post 99% of the crap 100% of the time that ****s it up for the other 100% of us.
My current track tool/streetbike at times, 1st pic 2005 GSXR-750 20th anniversary edition. The blue seat is replaced for track duty now, I bought a black one on the WERA board. I can swap the bike to track in an hour real easy to do. The suspension is Thermosman forks with Penske internals and Penske rear shock, it handles very well street or track. The usual brake upgrades have been done. Next bike (the yellow racebike) was my 2004 GSXR-600 that I raced with WERA, it had all the bells and whistles as the 750 and also was a good handling bike. The next yellow bike was my 2001 GSXR-600 racebike that I also raced with WERA for 2 years it was a excellent motorcycle and lives on today as a very good streetbike. Last one is of another angle of the 2004 GSXR-600 on track at Talladega 1st weekend with it as you can tell it is brand new
There are some others but I don't have them in a digital format.

how does your 750 handle? I've tried my friend's 1000 and it's very light in the throttle I prefer the throttle response on my 748. I would like to know your thoughts and opinions because my nest bike could possibly be the GSXR750. I didn't really like the feel of the 1000 Don't get me wrong, I think it handled great but it's just not for me
Evolution of the species, just like when you view a Paso next to a 999...
As a matter of fact, the more I look at PADuc's classic next to a K6, I see continuity. Something Ducati themselves states is a problem in the business modelplan pdf thread posted by Hyperpasta earlier this week. Before they pulled the plug. I see continuity by certain car makers as well. i.e., Porsche is probably the best example. BMW to a lesser extent.Corvettes display the evolution visually as well.
After thought: the 999 (which I love and owned) kinda is a jagged jump in evolution, like the "sub" theory of punctuated equilibrium. Asteroid hits Earth, kills about everything, huge shift in life...
Did that make sense ?
maybe that's why the 999 hasn't caught on as fast as they would have expected.
I am far from a bike snob. I like naked bikes, many japanese bikes, Euro bikes, vintage dirtbikes and I really like the new GSXRs. They are pretty.

There are many many other forums where this small mindedness does not exist and I think I will just stay there for a while. 249.....If anyone on here is a looser, look in the mirror and there identity will be crystal clear to you.
