Dear Mr Nero,
Allow me to thank you for the kind words that you parlayed concerning my Suzuki motorcycle. They were very much appreciated. Now I must go Pimp my ride.
Sincerely

But of course good sir. We must take care not to upset our genteel fellows here at the forum. Good day to you, sir....

we'll use this thread until it happens.

i installed a M4 slip on, BMC filter and a PCIII tonite.
Jamie at Fuel Moto helped with the set up/install. the pipe looks awesome and sounds great. install was pretty easy.
humidity was high, 41%, so i'll dyno it again on a crisper day.
we dyno'd the bike (2006 GSXR750) stock 1st and got 123rwhp and 54 ft lbs of torque. next we installed the BMC air filter and got 126rwhp. that's 3 hp from a $60.00 filter. not a bad investment. then we installed the pipe and the power commander.

pause here. the stock pipe weighs 14.2lbs. the new one is 4.5lbs. light is good.

dyno run with pipe and stock map in the PC. 130rwhp. then Jamie performed his magic with a custom map. this got us 135.28 rwhp and 58.52 ft lbs of torque. sweet.

i also installed some carbon fibre heel guards. they added 30hp and 12ft lbs. no they didn't but they look cool and weigh less than the ones that came with the Sato rearsets.

so that's a 12hp and 4.5 ft lbs of torque gain for about $800.00 worth of parts and Jamie's meticulous work. that is surely a good investment. i hope to ride it tomorrow to see how it feels.

we, on the other hand, are a little more discriminating regarding the company we keep so you and your boyfriends may only read posts here but not comment.

speaking of things that should not be said. i cannot bring myself to call the bike a "gixxer". i'm a squid but that is too squidly for me.

+1

I've owned a few over the years and have always hated that term!

So, do you guys have your own club, or a place where everyone hangs out to show off all the cool stuff you've done to your bikes?
