You need to try to get your head over near where the 2nd "O" is. Get your ass off the seat more, and then the knee will follow soon after.

i know. these pics were early in the day. i loosened up a bit later on.
i have to admit though RA scares the crap outta me. you are going so damn fast everywhere. i'm really looking fwd to the smaller tracks like BHF and Autobahn. i'm at each of those in May. you get to do more laps per session and can get in a groove. at RA you do like 7-8 laps and i feel like i'm just getting settled then they throw the checkers. i also feel like the bars need to be lower. on my Ducs i was hunkered down on the tank more. i'm going to drop them some before the next outing. i know, excuses, excuses.
i'll get there.

Mike,

We just picked up an 05 GSXR 1000, for a track bike, ordered Olins forks, shock, and stearing damper, started fitting the Armour Bodies tonight and hope to have it all done and painted by June 4-5 our next track days. Still need to decide if we want to run 16.5 or 17" rims and what to do with the frount brakes, but that stuff only takes a few days. We have not started or looked at your 926 since we got it, we have been jamming, 6-7 bikes a day and service is baked up 2-3 weeks, the 926 may be a winter project. Still need to sell the 998, and get a 999 for the track, but need to sell the 998 first.

take good care of that 926 please. the GSXR is outstanding. i installed Goodridge kevlar brakelines last nite. i'll see if it make a diff in the feel of the brakes. ordered a titanium slip on from M4 but still looking for quality rearsets.
good luck with all the projects. we'll see you at the track.

Good choice on the M4 you will be happy with it. I've had several of their full systems and slip-ons all were spot on in quality,,,,and sound

Throw some Vesrah RJL or SRJL race pads on the front I just added a new set to my bike last night, race rubber being mounted today. Still having trouble with the radial POS master cylinder, Brembo unit may be my next move if the OEM unit shows its ass next weekend,,,again.

I have 8 sets of R-55 Yosh slip-on on order and 4 full R-55 full systems, but Yosh is having a hard time with the end caps, the systems have been back ordered and I wont see them for 6 weeks. On the 750 look at Arata, for rear sets and exhaust, their stuff is top class. For case covers rear-sets and clip-ons woodcraft are okay and the price is fair. The cases covers and rear-sets for the new GSXR 600 & 750 are still back ordered (have them on order). After you put the exhaust and filter on the bike you want to TEKA map it (reprogram the stock computer). Also if you want to use a power shifter look at the Translogic unit out of England ( top shelf SH*T). I can help you with any parts you need.

We can give it a go.

Just a couple forums? One GSXR and one SV? or combine them?

Having suzuki should make some more fun, I love it when a ducati guy stumbles into the honda side and has to be rescued from the savages - or when a honda guy sneaks into the ducati side and again has to be rescued from the savages... Bring it on!

The divine emperor Nero would favor a separation between the gixxers and sv's...in honor of his birthday...

BTW, Grazie Dave !
