That is exactly the info I am looking for. What is the difference between the 2?
I would like to ride it in the street and even if it doesnt come with light I can rig them up. But would I not be able to do track stuff on the 610??

I have a KTM 625 SMC that I ride on the street, but it's really too big a bike for most of the tracks you'll end up on for Supermoto. Most of them are kart tracks, or some other small-ish layout.
Ideally, you'd want a 250 or 450 to run on the track, and buy the 610 or equivalent for the street.
I have a KDX 220 that's converted over to 17" wheels, and that's my track bike.

Thats beyond impressive, thats insane.
The last husaberg 650 I saw made 60rwhp with akro pipe.
My full ti leo system should be here next week, from there it'll just be a matter of jetting.
Cant wait.

Update:
I have removed the emissions crap. It looks better without all that crap hanging off the side.
However, it made no difference to the stutter that I'm experiencing at the 4300-5000 RPM range.

I think you just need to hammer on that thing to make it go away. Bounce it off the rev limiter a few times, and all will be good!

Dave, I have the same stutter in mine. When the stock pipe comes off and the re-jet, I'm sure we'll be fine.

I haven't received the Leo Vince yet but I've been planning ahead for a baseline carb setup. The SM630, while it has a different engine, has the FCR41 carb. It is setup with a 58 pilot, a 180 main, and the same needle as the 610 (OBDVR) except it is set at the 5th position rather than the 4th position on the 610.
I'm going to go with the 180 main to start. I may try a JD needle from the 450/510 kit with a 45 pilot, or go up to the 58 pilot and move the clip to the 5th position with the stock needle. Still have some time to figure this out but the thought of 60+ hp is starting to affect me. I can hardly wait!

Same engine, bigger piston and open race pipe, should be real close, I think I'll start there also.

Something I noticed on my bike that might be causing your stutter... the stock plug cap is made for a spark plug with a screw on cap. My stock plug did not have this cap on it, so the connection was not solid. I replaced the stock plug with an NGK iridium and put a cap on the plug before I even rode it. Don't know if this is the cause of your problem but it's real easy to check out.

Interesting DP, I'll check that out.
You wouldn't by chance remember what plug it uses would you? I'll pick one up on my way home from work today.

Hi Guys, Has anyone had any luck jetting that 4500 RPM stutter out yet.
I've moved the needle up one, gone up one pilot jet size and have the air screw out 2.5 turns. Still no luck. I also have the full Leo Vince system coming from
Motoxotica next week. Hopefully the exhaust won't add to the problem.

No difference at all? Bummer.
I've been waiting for someone else to figure it out. I'm a jetting idiot.

Did it get worse with these adjustments? Apparently the SM610 has a catalytic converter inside the muffler. I would think that this would allow reasonable jetting from the factory. Maybe not. I haven't experienced any significant stuttering or surging on my 610, that would indicate excessive lean jetting. Only mod so far, until I get the Leo Vince, is .5 turn out on the fuel screw.
Does it stutter at steady throttle openings, or when accelerating? Both? Make sure your fuel vent lines are not kinked. Also, check to see if your spark plug has a screw-on cap to properly fit the plug boot. While setting up my bike, I noticed that my stock plug did not have one fitted. This could cause an erratic spark because the spark has to jump the gap between the connection inside the boot to the contact on the spark plug. Easy to check.

Dave, Its very lean. runs better with the larger pilot jet but still needs more.
and I believe the exhaust change will likley need even more. Did you get your
pipe yet? I hear from Dan that it should be here. I haven't done any jetting
in a long time. But I remember to slowly creap up on it, if you jump up to a
much larger jet you may get way out of tune. I generaly make a change a day
than ride it to work for a good test ride. So I should have it dialed in shortly
just in time to start again with the new exhaust. Are we having fun yet?
