Seems like news is very hard to come by on DH? Even the MT'ers don't have an update.

A couple of bits of information. After his surgery he was sent to the Shepherd Center for rehabilitation. Shepherd is known for rehabilitation of folks with brain & spinal cord injuries. Secondly, last weekend there was a carting event sponsored by Road 2 Recovery with the proceeds going to his family. Road 2 Recovery is usually involved if there are career-ending injuries.

Unfortunately, it sounds as if he sustained a spinal cord injury.

thankyou very much everyone! i,m here in atlanta at the shepherd rehab center trying to get as much out of this place as i can. doctors told me i have a t12 burst fracture (one higher than the one at buds creek) and it is a complete injury. this time i have lost most movement and feeling in my legs. not to worry, there is very slow,(very slow) improvement. i am able to move a muscle in my r.leg, and make my left leg twitch a little. tingling feeling has moved down to my r.knee and half way down on my left thigh. i keep fighting to make these little movements bigger every day hoping to get use of my legs again. i want to thank my wife for her never ending support and my family and friends for taking care of everything for me while i am away. yamaha you are the best. i can,t say how much your support has meant to me and my family, and danny for setting up this page. this will be my longest and toughest comeback of my life, and with all the encouraging words i have received it makes my days much brighter.
