Default Monster S2R1000 vs. new Monster 1100

Thinking of doing the Monster thing. Which bike is best? I kinda like the S2R more.

Looks are subjective, but ride them and see what you find out. To me the M1100 feels like a much tighter package, better brakes, handles very well, suspension is less imprecise. It's a big difference.

Well put. Both great bikes but the M1100/696 has a distinct handling advantage which is great for rider confidence.

It sounds like blasphemy, but I'd rather have a 696 than an S2R1000...and I *love* torque. The new chassis and riding position just nail it for me.
