The 996 quoted above is a stock configuration right?

I'm trying to relate that stupendous 1080 engine to my own BCM Ducati 996 engine with ported heads,SPS cams,13:1 Pistals.

Of course,i can only speculate here but,i was told to expect somewhere in the mid 120HP range.THat 1080 dynoe'd at 126?

Something seems amiss...Or is the 1080 solely about increased torque?
Depends on the dyno. Seattle Ducati uses a Superflow while others use dynojet. They claim a 10% lower difference between them and dynojet.

Check out the 1098 vs 1080 graph. One has alot more low end and one more topend. Which do you think will be better for the street?

The dyno graph looks like you could have gone over 130 if you revved it out to 9.5-10,000 rpms. Does the longer stroke crank limit the redline that much or were you just being on the safe side?

Motor is still being broken in at the time of the dyno so revs were limited to 8500. Bruce told me to keep under 9500 my rev limiter is 10000.

10% between Superflow and DynoJet dynos?!

Ah, probably not.

Should be more like 2%.

One thing with DynoJet though, is you have to watch their corrections-- specifically that they aren't going bananas due to sensor placement or sensors being out of calibration. Really this goes for ANY dyno, but I've seen a few DynoJets with flaky atmospheric sensors.

I would be shocked if you had only mid 120hp range for that. I have the SPS cams and Pistals in my 996, with stock heads and I'm at 133hp/80ft.lbs. I would expect upper 130s with ported heads.

Update:

I picked the bike up today. Will be going on first ride soon.

Note dyno graphs are at 80% throttle position because FI is at 100% at that position right now. Will have to go back in and increase fuel pressure to get to the 100% throttle openings.
