Default Picked up new ride

After averaging $300-$400 a month in gas, I have finally had enough. My Infiniti Q45 is a great car, but not for a daily driver. She is flat out a gas pig.

So I picked up a new Honda Civic EX yesterday. Drove it from the Bay area to my house (220 miles) at 75-80 mph with the A/C blasting the whole way. I get home and look to see I still have over half a tank of gas.
I was actually excited to top her off with fuel today and see what mileage I got with her. Shortly after the gas pump started running, it shut off. I thought to myself there is no way she can be full off of $16. Sure as shit she was full. I did the math and almost got choked up. 39.36 MPG!! She will pay for herself in no time. If i am going to spend $300-$400 a month, at least now I get to keep most of it.

So to all of the big oil companies out there.........F U!!!!

No doubt!
When fuel prices got a little over $2 a gallon, I said FU and broke out the scooter(pit bike). 1985 Honda Aero 80cc, and got about 80mpg! Drove that back and forth to work(10 miles roundtrip). Now I'm in the process of getting a new scooter, one with a little more style since it looks like I'll be riding it for a while.
Mostly drive it back and forth to work, and lately been riding it to run all my local errands. So I'm saving about $100-$200 per month in gas. Not to metion that riding these scooters are a total blast!
The Aero I have now gets up to about 38mph or so. Just a little too slow for me, but it's 20 years old. So I'm selling that and getting a new one that will hit 50mph, smokin fast!!!!
