Ferrari needs a spark this year, hopefully MS will be it. I don't see Massa back this year (if ever), so he might get to drive out the season.
Since Kimi isn't near the front of the standings anyway, I can't imagine team orders coming into play, let them fight it out and see if they can get some podiums.
Considering that ticket sales for Spain were way off I'm sure the promoters are happy as well.

Wow, I really didn't think he'd drive again. There was talk last week that he wasn't even interested in returning as team consultant next year, like he was losing interest.
Still, he probably had practically no choice in this case, Ferrari needed him, and likely dangled a huge bonus in front of him to get him to agree.
Next year's Ferrari team will probably look very different from this year's, and least as far as the driver lineup is concerned. Alonso & Kubica maybe?

Kubica is such a whiny bitch, I hope not. Give me Vettel or Hamilton ahead of him. Or just keep Kimi and make sure his is sober at least during race weekends.
I don't like Alonso much either, but he is still probably the best driver on the grid. I wonder how his participation in Spygate will play into Ferrari's choice to hire him or not.

Unreal, so what are your predictions here?
Can he qualify top 8 even?
I'll say it first, I don't think so.. but kinda hope he proves me wrong. as if we've talked it over.

Him racing again will just prove one thing, he only won cuz he had the best car all those years. He doesn't have the best car now and I'd be surprised if he was near the front.

yes he did have the best car and the best support team, prolly in the history of F1. He was also the best driver in the field.
i dont see MS winning, unless ferrari makes leaps forward during the summer break.
podiums and nice points are not out of the question.

Valencia is usually processional, so unless he qualifies well or lucks out with a safety car and pit timing, he will struggle for a podium. Points would be certainly be possible though, the Ferraris have been doing better recently.
Belgium will be a different story, it is still a drivers track. If it rains watching him, Kimi, and Hamilton fight it out could be epic.

Alonso is a bitch too. Ferrari will lose t-shirt sales if they have him behind the wheel. Hamilton will not be in a Ferrari either unless he and Dennis have a big outing.
They will have to keep Kimi and let's all hope Massa gets a chance to return. I would like to see Rubino get back in red and the thought of Rossi making a real attempt at F1 sounds kind of nice too.

U think he'll be ready for F1 without the traction control? Didn't he almost off himself on a bike without traction control?
