What is the diffuser made out of? Not carbon or is it painted?

I believe is carbon fiber but I am not sure, let me e-mail the seller and get back to you.

e-mailed the seller, and says each diffuser is constructed of lightweight cross linked polymer, it's very hard to break and flexible.
