Rally

A special part will take place on this year's Rally Acropolis in Greece.. it will be a close circuit inside the olympic stadium. The track is asphalt and the cars will use the dirt tires for more sliding action. The bridge section will be the highlight because most of the fast drivers will fly over it!

They did that last year. They had champion racers from around the world. Michael Schumacher was one of them. They had three car types. A Rally car, Ferarri Modena, and a buggy type of car. They had to add a chicane for the Modena on the bridge. People were jumping them over the bridge, and cracking the windsheilds.

Hehe, that is funny ... so that time Ferrari did not bring equipment up to the standard for the track design, and the track was altered

But I guess it was not F1 ... at Indy

I think SP8 is talking about last year's Race Of Champions event. One of the US car mags had a good article from a reporter who got to ride with Schumacher in practice and during that ride Schumacher jumped his Ferrari and shattered the windshield. They fixed the car and he got beat by that young dude from Finland who is currently racing GP2.

I wish they'd show the Race Of Champions on SPEED or somewhere. It looks pretty interesting as different countries are represented by several racers, including motorcycle racers. I believe Colin Edwards and Rossi have been really impressive there in the past.

They did run the Race of Champions several times months back.. Cant remember what channel it was on, but it was aired several times.. They followed Jeff Gordon and some other NASCAR guy around, evidently GOrdon won it the year prior (I thiiiiink).

Yeah that's the one. I'm 95% sure I watched on Speed.
