Default New Goat in garage...

Just returned home with a new '05 GTO...Quicksilver Metalic 6 speed...Black interior...sold '01 WS6 T/A 6 speed to get it...totally different handling qualities...much more stable in the corners...planted is how I guess I'd describe it...sit much higher and farther forward in the cabin than the T/A...

Mod's coming:

Exhaust
K&N Filter
B&M Shifter
Window Tint
Wheels & Goodyear F1 GSD3's

A good old Aussie car which we sell to you Americans. That's a Holden Monaro with different badges and the steering wheel on the wrong side.

I think any time you put a Vauxhall badge on something it loses 20kw. Vauxhall Monaro just sounds so wrong.

Not to take a piss on you or anything, but shouldn't this be in the General Auto Chat forum? BTW the launch of the new goat didn't go so well.....looked like a Cavalier on steroids.

Nice car. Enjoy it! Don't mind the "Gee, not to take a piss" while taking a piss types.

My sincere apology. I never should have suggested putting car threads in the car forum, what was I thinking. I will agree though, it is a very nice car.

I have always been a GM guy, but the new Mustang is a grand slam in my book. That is a real beauty.

That's a beatiful car you've got there, Spooler! If I were buying a new Mustang, that's exactly how I would have it set up - color, wheels, driving lights, etc...

I hope you didn't pay the extra markup they're trying to get out of people around here!

(And yes, this should be in the Auto forum, but whatcha gonna do?)

[Wow, look at that! No sooner do I make that comment, then BOOM! Here it is in the Auto forum... ]
