Nice looking car. If anyone mistakes this for that frod GT thing they need a kick in the pants. This car looks 100x better. At the very least the wheels dont look like they are 15x too big for the car.
I always liked the Muria....classic beautiful Italian lines.

Actually the original Miura was loosely styled after the GT40 my Mr Lamborghini.
Yeah. I was gonna say that it more resembles the GT40 more than the new Ford GT. But back then just about every car manufacturer had a similar, swoopy looking 2 seater coupe.

GT40's started out by way of Lola in the UK in 62, raced in 64. Miura was first shown in 65.
Look at the 2 cars side by side in daylight and there was no copying going on. As to which looks better, I can't say. GT40 for my taste, but I'm not going to be in a position to pick between the 2 this week.
I'd be jumping for joy to have either one!
Heck....just drive either one once would be Grrreat !

Gee then why did the GM of Lamborghini state in teh special on Lamborghini the other night, that Mr Lamborghini took some styling cues from the GT40?
Probably because he is ****in clueless... Think what you want it matters not to me I only commented in this thread for grins & giggles anyway as I am a prior Countach 5000s owner & have been to the Lambo factory prior to the Daimler-Chrysler period.

Mike that 5000s body kit on your old Fiero doesnt count.

Because he is wrong. Bertone did the styling with Marcello Gandini as the head of design back then. Together they are responsible for most any of Lamborghini's most recognizable cars.
