Who built that? Rad Rods by Troy? What I wouldn't give.. Poverty sure does suck.

I actually like this trend in cars. Taking old classic muscle and building it out with all the latest and greatest. As a purist, that is what the guys way back when were doing with their 1920's cars, sticking 1950's technology into them. . . just seems some folks got caught in that moment kinda like the Harley engineers and they can't get around the idea that time moves on and the basic concept of Hot Rod is to take present tech and insert it into old machines. I think "Elanor" from Gone In 60 Seconds is largely resposible for getting people like me to even be aware of this trend. In short, I like it.

I'm a purist too, and to pull off this kind of custom it has to be tasteful. The faired in exhaust, the pretty much stock grill, and the unaltered panels make this thing pretty tasteful. maybe a bit too much wheel and tire under each corner, but the kicker is that almost Italian looking rear 3/4 view. Pantera? Lambo? Even a touch of good ole 'merican C5 in there. And what was that orange called? I'm pretty sure that was a Mopar color, like Plum Crazy or that orange they did...Hugger Orange? Plus it is a Hemi...

Either way, I'd take it!
