...LOL!
No but seriously, putting all kidding aside, that is quite unfortunate for Luca and FBF.
I hope they can recover from this and move forward without anymore mechanical problems as it looks like the future of MV sales depends on it.

It was NOT the engine letting go, it was an oil seal behind the countershaft that let go, Daytona will find the weak spots on a steel anvil.
Britt, I was pretty damn impressed with Matt. I think I saw him up in 7th place at one point? I'm looking forward to following him the rest of the season.

I have to agree the bikes and riders for MV performed well despite the final results of the race. Lynn in particular was mixing it up with several former national champs until his tire problems, and perhaps more importantly was ahead of his teammate. All this on what has been presented as a brand-new bike on the steep portion of its development cycle.
Their apparent speed this early bodes well for the program. While it would be tough to beat Suzuki for a race win, several top ten finishes are likely for the two riders IMO. If they both perform more or less equally this year, would both possibly move to WSBK next year?

"Exercise restraint and discipline, only responding to posts from legit customers and those with constructive positive intent, you will find that the handgrenades explode harmlessly. You have many satisfied customers who are happy to have the parts you've made. My suggestion to you is keep making good parts, keep getting more customers, take care of them and let them speak for you."
Curious! There are only FOUR letters to describe the emotion that I'm feeling after reading your post, and those letters are...

F-U would have got the point across a little easier, and with no second guessing....I mean, F-Y. What, you have something against Yoga? Perhaps Yoplait? Maybe just Yogurt in general?
BTW, Britt, caught you in the pits on the replay of the SBK race....must be nice having those priv's, i'm freakin jealous!
Best of luck to that team, and both riders the rest of the season...someone needs to chase them there Jap-o-knees bikes.
Joe,
I would much rather be working on Matt's bikes, But Ferracci has "Guys", so I am now cast aside like many RaceDads before me...
It is fun, but I know it will be a steep learning curve for Matt, learning a new bike while MV builds a platform to race from. Matt says he is up for it, but it will not be without its crashes, mechanicals, or just plain **** ups, it is after all RACING, and I dare say no one can name a team that hasn't had it's share of problems or riders that haven't had tough times, and we will in the end see what I already know.
