Default Red Silver Paint Codes That work??

A mate of mine wants to do some touch-up on his 2000 MV750 Red/Silver but the paint codes are as rear and hard to find as chickens teeth!!

Has anyone hear got the lowdown on what works?

Paint codes I have are as follows,

RedPPG954642 SilverPPG954643

and
RED WVD7B SILVER WVD8B

None mean a bloody thing in New Zealand, any help would be great, thanks guys.

I believe MV uses a couple of paints only available in Europe (Palinal and Sebimol?) and their PPG codes are wacked too. I tried a bunch of different paint shops at one point when I was trying to do a Ducati like an MV Senna, and they all looked at me like I was on glue. I think you best bet is to take it to a good shop, have them mix up some color matched paint. Allegedly that produces results as good as the original these days (I think they electronically scan the paint to get a perfect match).

We get lots of paint from Asia and the #'s don't sync with North Am #'s. A good painter will match by eye with his chip book and mix the colour. Lots more places now "shoot" the chip and the computer tells what to mix.
