on Dish Network right now, for those who may be interested......
Checking it out now. Went there a few years ago....I was most impressed with all of the Chianti available in the cafeteria. The tour as a whole was quite impressive.
It was still the best thing on at 8pm on a Saturday night. Calling the Multistrada 4 bikes in one was a bit of a stretch, but a friend of mine called and told me he had his Harley listed for sale 3/4 of the way through the show. It spoke to at least one person.
Amazing how differet we are...I take MONTHS of research, reading, comparing, looking, etc before I make up my mind on a big ticket item. Never would have envisaged someone would watch a TV program on a manufacturer's product and immediately decide to buy a bike!

I DVR'd it, and watched it today. I liked the show. My only criticism is the 4 bikes in 1 thing. To me, that means it doesn't do any of those 4 things exceptionally well.

Speaking philosophically, I often wonder which person is actually happier:
Person 1 (me): Thinks about things a lot. Wants to know how something works, what could go wrong, and creates a set of personal criteria for what the "best" bike would be. Basically mulls it over to death and realizes at best their decision is going to be a compromise.
Person 2: Holy s***! That thing is cool! How much would they give me in trade in? I'll call them in the morning.
Now that I write it out, I think I know the answer...
