Bar ends suggestions

Needing to purchase some bar ends for my 748S. I had replaced the factory clip ons with some helibars and at the time had no other bar ends to put on but the ones from my, dare I say it, SV650! Recently sold the SV so bar ends went with it. Just looking for some suggestions/source for a nice set. Don't want to spend a ton of money on them but would like them to look nice.

They have to be heavy to work. Avoid the aluminium ones on Ebay. They're merely decorative. Generally, the ones from bike manufacturers are best. Usually the part that fits inside the bars (that the end screws to) is removable. You need both parts for the best result but you can cobble up an inside from a piece of hose, two washers and a longer screw and nut.

cyclecat barends seem to be nicely constructed. you can also get the kind that will allow crg hindsite mirrors to be installed and remove your stock oem mirrors for better visibility. it is a 100% improvement. check em out...

I don't think CycleCat ones will fit anything but their handlebars. I used Lockhart Phillips and they were nice.

I have the Cycle cat bar ends for the CRG mirrors and the mirrors are great and don't look that dorky. I am using the Cycle cat bars.
