Default Front Wheel Bearings

Howdo!!

I have a 1994 Superlight with the old style 3 spoke Marchesini wheels. Is it possible to change the wheel bearings to accept a 25mm axle? The reason being Im looking into upgrading the front forks for a set of later radial forks. Any info most welcome.

Cheers Pablo

Howdie!

I've gone the other way, converting a wide axle Magnesium wheel to narrow (18mm??) - so I dont see why not - just takes time and patience......

If you are going to all the trouble of changing the front end why not go for lighter marchesini wheels to get the full benefit, Ebay is your friend here and its such a good upgrade to do anyways....

heres the fun I had:

Howdo Frank

The front wheel is a light weight Marchesini. Thats why I want to keep it.
