Rearset and header advice
Hi, all. I've been away from this site for a while, but I still have my 1997 900 SS/SP ! After a year with an MV Agusta F4-1000s, I traded that on a 2007 Ducati ST3s, so I'm all Ducati again. I'll post pictures of my SS in the photo gallery as soon as I can. I guess you need a URL to post pics here, correct? Anyhow, I have two questions. When I do track days with the Supersport, I drag my pegs, shift and brake pedals and headers (not good!!). Please, no advice about hanging off more, I already am. Anyone able to recommend good rearsets for a 1997 Supersport? You don't need to mention Cycle Cat since of course they are unobtainium. So far all I've found for a pre-1999 SS are Woodcraft, which look nice enough but are not adjustable, although a LOT cheaper than the Cycle Cat ones were. Also, I was aware of the header dragging problem with those bikes, but even with my forks all the way down in the clamps to raise the front end, and with a 1" longer Penske shock adjusted with 1/2" extra ride height on the back, my headers still drag occaisionally (yes the bike sits pretty high). Anyone have any headers-that-don't-drag recommendations? There, those were my questions. Thanks in advance for any help.

I may be wrong, but I think Acculign makes rearsets for the pre-terblance SS

I think The rearsets made by Ducati Performance for this model are the best and look great as well not like you glued a child's toy to the side of your bike like many of the others you mentioned. Not sure how to find them though but you never know.

before cycle cat there was dp. s&p rearsets were the next best thing to dp; style & performance. red racing parts in italy used to be a good source but the euro is a lot higher than it used to be.
good luck on finding a header; termignoni or staintune used to make nice spaghetti headers but they're like unobtanium.

I am looking forward to receiving a Sil-Moto spaghetti header (should be arriving next week) I ordered it from Eurocorsa out of Canada about 1 month ago

These guys may be able to help you with the header situation although primarily for racing. I use the woddcraft rearsets on my SS800 which are adjustable.

I called your store months ago after missing out on your previous group buy and never heard back from you guys.
I ended getting mine from Eurocorsa in Canada

Bracket is on their now. Pics are during the initial install.
Don't know if it is only for the FE or not. Header was for the 91-98 SS.
Sorry we did not get back to you.
