Default Can you ID these Passenger Pegs?

I've looking to change to a biposto setup, but would love to keep the highmounts. These seem like a good solution. Do you know if they are available somewhere? Does anyone have experience with them? Are they too high to be comfortable for the passenger? Thanks for your help guys.

Cliff

Yes I can.... It is two exhaust hangers. One hanger doing it's job correctly and the other is turned around the wrong way with a universal folding peg attached to it. My wife doesn't complain about the position at all. What I do find is my heels hitting her toes though. It was an easy solution that works for the small amount of time she is on there.

I did something similar and found the exhaust hangers too weak allowing the pegs to bend down over time. I made small 1/4" steel brackets which reside behind the exhaust bracket and attached an extention post with a sportster peg I had that allows me to bend them out of the way. Eventually i'll get nicer pegs but they have been on the bike for over five years and many miles of hard use. My wife says the position is fairly comfy.

jdjanetka, do you have a better picture? (Close up) I'm very curious! I wanted to have a bracket made that held the exhaust and the pegs, but to have a "one off" made on a flow jet was $$$$. (Where in Salford are you? I grew up in Harleysville and I'm in Skippack visiting my parents for the weekend! your Superlight )

Sorry it took so long, but here is the pic of my brackets. Being black I really don't even notice the bracket.

So do you just leave the bracket on and take the peg off when not using it? Or do you just take the whole thing off (bracket and peg)?

You could just take the peg off but I just fold it out of the way. Like I said I'm still looking for pegs that look more at home on the bike but since I had these pegs from an old sporty I used to own and they work well I really haven't made an issue of it.

Have you taken a pillon on that setup for 100-200 miles? It'd think that position would be hard on the pillon's knees and ass. But if it works, great!

We've done quite a few rides between 100-200 miles with no ass complaints. My wife tells me it's about the same as the position on most of the cruisers we've sat on which I find hard to believe. I don't know if you noticed it but my tail piece is not normal duc equipment. The bike is a 95 900ss/sp that I installed a solo tail on and painted up like a superlight. After hearing my wife complain about not being able to go out on the duc anymore I bought a used R6 pillion seat and modified the seat pan to match the solo tail and sculpted a piece of 2" seat foam from sargaent.I then welded up a small framework out of 1" tubing so that the seat was self supporting and incorporated the old seat latch so that I now have a nice storage compartment that I can easily access. This places the rider mutch higher than the normal ss which I am sure makes a big difference. She shattered her tibia about 10 years ago so after about 75 to 100 miles I start feeling her good knee start digging into my side but someone with a good knee may not have any problems.

Oh, I see now. Yeah, I guess the extra height of the solo tail and the R6 pillon seat should make up for the pegs being a lot higher and the knee angle might vrey well be not as drastic as I had thought.
