How is the mileage on the SS 1000DS?

I am seriously looking to buy a supersport 1000ds, currently I have a monster 620 and get about 46-48 mpgs.
I welcome any input about what to look for, its pros and cons. Thanks in advance.

I get 51-55 pretty repetitively on my 800SS.

I get anywhere from 40 to 50- depending on how/where i'm riding. My girlfriend on a 99 monster 750 and I get almost identical mileages.
