Header Modification

A while back I reember running into a site that had a service that opened up the collector on the header. I even emailed the guy. Anyone know about this? Im considering doing it, but Im not sure.

My recollection is no real gain...the restriction is in the heads. You'll have to check with Brad Black, Chris Kelly, et al for the real deal...

apparantly doesn't make any dyno difference from what i'm told, but i would believe it feels better. i'm going to do it to the 750'd 600m when i get to it. someday.

I did the mod on mine. The plans were on the old Salt Lake Motorsports web site. Unfortuanatley, they sold out and no more web site. Looked just like Dan's except the box in the centre is closed in on top and bottom. In terms of results, maybe a small bump but really couldn't tell for sure by seat of the pants dyno.
