SS Front Axle

Hey men, What size is the hex on a 96 900 SS front axle -- I must buy one tomorrow.

Should be a 14mm; mine was ('97), and there's someone w/ a '95 on the board who told me 14mm, so...

14mm. I got mine at toolsplus. You'll have to find a smaller, or a speciality shop to get it. Home Depot, and auto-parts stores told me to pack sand...

i found one on ebay for like 12 bucks, i can look him up and ask him if he's got more...1/2" drive too

Thanks but i found one at Mcmaster-Carr for $5. It's in the mail, will be here tomorrow = $3 overnite in CA. Noother place had one, not Sears, Post Tool or any auto parts store. Post Tool used to carry them for $28 but stopped because nearly everyone that bought one returned them slightly used - haha
