900 ssie swingarm cracked

has anyone heard of any of the new style swingarms cracking? i have a 2002 900ss with what appears to be a crack on the upright area between the main beams and the shock mount. any info would be appreciated. thanks, dan

if it's cracked and the bike is out of warranty then it should be covered under the goodwill warranty system. you need to go to a dealer and get them to do the warranty procedure.

Mine cracked at the weld between the tubing and the casting for the swingarm pivot axel clamp. Ducati stood behind it 2 years out of warentee.

just curious...how many miles on it??

i just got the bike on saturday, it has 2500 miles on it. i do not know if it is still under the time warranty. i will contact BCM, they are where it came from.
