Default 750 F1 starter problems
88 750 F1 with a Nippondenso starter. It barely turns and as soon as it gets to the power stroke, it doesn't move. I've jumped directly to the terminal and good ground with a car battery but nothing. Any ideas?

worn brushes, dirty commutator, bad earth connection from starter body to engine cases, idler gear seized on it's mount pin.
