Thanks for the link Hedge. Yeah I'd say those are our calipers:
30/34 Al Left 40mm Bolt Center - Brembo
Looks like 30/34 to me. I'm pretty sure I would have noticed a leaking caliper, I usually bleed my clutch and brake lines every year to clear out the old fluid, but I'll double check 'em when I install the new pads and rotors. BTW the new rotors are much thicker than the stockers, and lighter than I would have expected too. I'll have to compare to the stock ones.

You learn something new everyday... looks like I'll be buying a piston & seal rebuild kit for a set of calipers that are on my shelves. Guess it's a good thing I never throw anything motorcycle away. Those definitely weren't listed for sale when I needed to buy 'em, but he had everything else available back to 1975 it seemed. Looks like the price of calipers went up too. The rebuild kit would have saved me some dinero for new tires.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the info and advice on my brake upgrade. I got the EBC Pro-Lite Contours mounted and the Double-H pads in place, the braking is MUCH improved. The stock rotors and pads felt wooden by comparison. And the stock rotors were a LOT heavier too. Not a bad upgrade for about $140 spent. Now I gotta start practicing my stoppies.

BTW - no leaking caliper, they were both fine and I could push the pistons back by hand. I did take notice though it looks like I might have a leaking left fork seal. Might be looking at a fork rebuild in the future. Can anyone say gold valves?
